Writing is usually considered a solitary exercise; stereotypes abound of the writer toiling away in a lonely garret. What aspects of writing can be collaborative? What are the possibilities for writing from a place of connection with others, of writing with the warm, interested attention of another person?

In this workshop, we’ll form listening partnerships to sift through our pasts for stories we want to tell.  We’ll try out writing and revising with the support of another person, and we’ll give and receive constructive feedback in a group.

This workshop is open to anyone who writes creatively or would like to write creatively.  It is specifically designed to support those who would like to share a piece of writing at the “100,000 Poets for Change” event at the Readery on Saturday, September 30th.

Workshop fee: 30 Euros
