Our books have been chosen one by one for their literary quality, popularity, and condition. Our roomy, comfortable shop is designed for the shopper who likes to browse for hours as well as for someone who wants to find a particular title quickly, with no fuss or bother.

We offer dozens of categories of books. Within most categories, the books are arranged alphabetically by author, and within each author's books, alphabetically by title. Although all the books are indeed secondhand, many are in mint or near-mint condition.

Whenever possible, our books cost less than identical secondhand editions sold by professional secondhand booksellers online, including those that sell through Amazon, especially when the shipping cost is added in to their prices. When not the cheapest available, our books are almost always among the two or three cheapest.
