Online Writing Workshop:
Point of View
a 3-hour ZOOM workshop for writers of all levels,
led by Lisa Yarger
Sunday, 7 June 2020
11:00 – 15:00
(with a one-hour break between 12:30 and 13:30)
Cost: 40€
Who is telling the story?
What is point of view,
and what difference can it make in how readers engage with your writing?
Whether you're writing a novel, a short story or a poem, point of view matters!
In this Zoom workshop, we'll discuss examples of first-person, second-person, third-person limited and third-person omniscient points of view. We'll do some playful exercises to try out writing from each perspective.
You'll leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of the point of view options available to you as a writer and with greater confidence in your ability to write from different perspectives.
