What do you love about the natural world?
Where do you feel most at home outdoors?
What are your happiest memories from being outside?
What landscape speaks to you?

In honor of Earth Day (April 22) we’ll use writing to remember
and explore our deepest connections to the natural world.

What you can expect from this workshop:

* You’ll learn (or review) the basics of free-writing, or writing practice.

* You’ll be offered writing “prompts,” including images, phrases and questions such as the ones above.
You’ll have time to free-write on each.

* After each writing exercise, you’ll have the option to either read out loud what you’ve written, or share how the writing experience was for you, or ask a question. You will never be pressured to read out loud.

* You’ll have the opportunity to ask and receive answers to questions about writing.

This workshop provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere for anyone interested in writing, including absolute beginners. Teens are very welcome. Short breaks are scheduled throughout the three hours.

The workshop will be in English, but you are welcome to write in any language. Workshop limited to ten participants.
